Been a few days...
Well, thought I would post and say hello to anyone who may be reading this...otherwise I guess it may be just an online diary!

I am in need of another job and really need some prayers for this. It has been so slow for the past 6 months! I think alot of people are out of work.

I have sent out resumes until I cannot even recall to whom I sent them, so if they call I hope I remember!

Elephant
Mood:  cool
Hey, Dan. I put an elephant next to the poem on our webpage. I could not find too many in gif format. If you find a better one, post in on our message board and I will try to save it to my pictures for upload on the site.

How is your friend??

Elephant
Hey, I heard the song. Pretty cool! That's not a bad idea Dan. Hmmmm...I will have to put some thought into how to implement that!

Thanks!

CCMIG mascot and song
Mood:  bright
Now Playing: http://dogbonetown.com/listen/dbt-elephant_play_electric.mp3
Just received the demo eCard with the flying elephant.

Since we are on the topic of elephants, maybe the mascot of CCMIG should be an elephant...

How about a CCMIG song. Here is a cute one at
http://dogbonetown.com/listen/dbt-elephant_play_electric.mp3

Title of the song is "Elephant Play Electric Guitar"
It is a story in a song and I really like the story.

Anyway, without giving away the whole story, the story is the setting of a zoo and there is some interesting surprises.

Funny!
Mood:  bright
Dan, that is funny! Thanks for the caring email you sent to me re: my post. I am so glad you are part of our group; I do not know what you would do without you!

Well, you will never believe what happened. I had been at the hospital doing my paperwork, yada, yada...

Then, the kids dad called me and asked me why I was there. He told me my son was doing real good and that when he told me all that stuff that cause me to go try to have him committed, that he was just in a bad mood and exagerated it all!!

I left there steaming mad! They do hold the papers for thirty days though in case he takes a turn for the worse.

Elephant - Real Experience
Talking about elephants, this reminded me of my mom one time.

We were in the emergency room with a possibility of my mom having a heart attack. I was the translator (now a days I think they use real translator instead of a family member).

Anyway the doc wants me to ask my mom about feeling pressure on her chest. For the life of me, I don't know how to translate "pressure". So the doc try to help and suggested that I ask her whether she feel like an elephant is sitting on her chest.

Now that I could translate! So I asked her about this elephant and immediately I knew I did something wrong in my translation. The reason is that she just stared at me with wide eyes for a few seconds. She looked at the doctor, and then looked at me again and said "Please tell the good doctor I really don't know if an elephant is sitting on my chest or not because I NEVER had an elephant sat on me before!"

Today's Journey
Mood:  down
Well folks, if anyone is reading this: I am about to have to get out and have my son put back in the hospital. This makes the sixth time in the past few years.

He is not doing well at all. I am actually afraid that something is going to happen to him if he does not get back on his meds real soon.

He has been getting worse and worse without his meds and is snowballing. Pray for me that God will give me strength!
